Nike Boots

I don't see any Nike boots in the Creation Centre for PS3. What's the deal with that?
There is a drop down menu option for NIKE but nothing to choose from. Why?|||They're probably having some trouble getting the licenses for the Nike boots, they're notoriously strict. There wasn't even a Nike option when the branded boots were added though, so expect something over the next few days hopefully.|||That's so stupid. There are Nike boots in other parts of the game. Also there are Nike kits in the Creation Centre. I'm getting impatient. My team looks so dumb with Nike kits and Umbro boots.|||It does seem stupid to release something with a part missing.|||

All the NBA games have Nike sneakers in them, why not FIFA? Regardless, I hope this gets resolved soon.
I love the team I created, but I was really hoping to put them in Nike Tiempos or Mercurial Vapors.|||In case anyone was wondering, they added 4 pairs of Nike boots to the Creation Centre. Hooray!
Perhaps more will come in the future? I'm not begging. I'm happy with what's there. Now, if we can only upload our own crests....

Editing a created player's looks in the game?

Hi guys,
I have a question: After you created players in the creation center and downloaded the team (with created players), can you then still edit the looks of the players in the game? Cause the couple of faces to pick look a bit lame and too generic.
If you have the game and know for sure please let me know!

You seriously just my mind.|||I think the question was more if this has happened to everyone or just me.
I do know that different teams have different attendance levels, but create a teams universally can't sell tickets :)

Game Face

I read that many people have problems with Game Face. So have I. The mainscreen does not appear, I only see a grey box and the zoom buttons.
No one has ever answered to this problem but if someone knows a solution, PLEASE help me out!

Why cant they just release a fix update for this....|||It isn't hard to implement names in an update, but they can't profit from it so they don't do it. Simple as that. Oh, and Creation Centre is in it's Alpha or Beta stage so don't expect the 1.0 version to be released before FIFA12, because EA/FIFA-team will not put any effort in it. At least that is what I assume as I have never received any answer from them concerning the Creation Centre Beta version.|||

fifa 12 needs goalkeeper improvments before official releasing

So we had it all mapped out. Me and 11 of my friends planned on having a tournament this weekend in celebration of fifa. so we thought of a great idea. "why dont we all make a created team and then we can have a fantasy draft and we can place the players we selected onto our squads". everyone was sooo hyped. until i had to break the news to them. that for some reason EA doesnt allow us to use real players on our created teams. Madden 2004 allowed you to do that so why cant fifa 11 (7 years of more advanced technology but for some reason couldnt get this right) do it? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I AM BEGGING YOU EA TO MAKE A PATCH LETTING US BE ALLOWED TO HAVE REAL PLAYERS ON OUR TEAMS SO MY FRIENDS AND I CAN CELEBRATE THE GREAT GAME OF FIFA IN FASHION.|||You could... about four years ago when this 'new innovation' was on FIFA07.
Sadly you have to make all created players I'm afraid.
PS: I have Pro Evo 5 (made in 2004-05) and it has a far superior club creation/ player creation system :)

May be a noob question but after you download content to your ps3 from creation centre, do you always need to be logged online to play them. I downloaded a load of teams & next time I switched on my ps3 (not connected to web this time) all teams said creation centre instead of Cluj ect....
Just a little annoying if true as I don't always log on net when i use my ps3.

Virtual Pro Freezes after creation

I've heard of freezing but never at this point. I make my face and height and the basics (PS3), when I press start and it goes to the page with a picture of a press conference and the 3 bullet points saying what you can do with the VP, with the advance and back options - the game freezes. The music is playing but the screen has frozen and no buttons work. The only thing i can do is press PS and quit the game, which subsequently restarts the PS3 as it has obviously frozen. Anyway to fix this and is it common? Will it be fixed in an update? Thanks, want to get on with a GK VP!

If you bookmark a team, it will download automatically the next time you play FIFA. If you create a team and publish it, it will also download automatically.|||No, it won't download automatically.
Once in console, you have to go to, from the Main Menu, "My FIFA 11" -> "Creation Centre Gallery" and it's there where you can download/update/delete the content you bookmarked.

Well, obviously, you're not stupid. There's a whole bunch of ppl struggling with this. CC Bug: Team is not downloadable & editable anymore

Greetings!
My problem is, that NO ONE can download my team FC Bayern 2001 anymore.
You can try it out if you want.
Search for FC Bayern 2001 with 1781 downloads (& yes, it is the most downloaded bayern munich team!! -.-)
but since december it is not even possible to click on the team to see the players, so bookmarking is impossible too.
It happend when I edited something on my team, and after I saved it, the team was not downloadable anymore.
I have the bookmark still on my ps3, but if I click to download it, it comes the message that an error has occurred.
I don't think that someone of you can help me, this should be a topic for the EA-Technical-Support, and I don't think that my team will ever be useable again.
I don't know if someone posted such a problem on the forum, I thought it would be useful to tell you, that such a bug does exist.

Hi, with the announcement of the new features of creation centre to come with Fifa 12 I'll be updating this squad with all the new juicy features.
After a barrage of comments on the* page I'll also be changing the line up to include Ruud van Nistelrooy, this will obviously come at the expense of certain players so I'll welcome all suggestions and requests!
The new* is up in early September, this will mean that once I start editing for 12, you will no longer be able to download it on Fifa 11, so I'd advise grabbing a copy asap if you're interested in giving it a whirl before that date!
I'll also note that due to a bug in* Jaap Stam's name won't go in properly. For this reason I've changed it to Yaap Stam. Out of my hands I'm afraid!!

Well its for people who don't have their club in the game or maybe they want to put in a classic team, or even a pub team.

Editing existing players

In game editing question rather than a creation centre one, as I'm aware you can't edit or assign EA created players with creation centre already.
Is it possible to edit traits and personalities for existing players?
As expected EA don't do any proper research outside the top divisions and don't really care if championship players are renowned for arguing with refs etc, just the odd key player per club.
I would like to run through the Leeds line up and assign certain abilities and correct a few issues. Biggest example is how under-rated Davide Somma is, which to be fair, I fully expected as he's only really broke through this season. I can resolve the basics, give him a much more powerful shot etc, but what I can't do is influence the traits.
Another example being Max Gradel, perhaps the most enthusistic, hard working, selfish player ever who always tried to beat his man but without being especially skillful. He's got none of the traits assigned to cover that off, which if there would leave me to reduce his actual ability slightly.

Creation Centre failure!

Hi, I have created a team and all players for it, the starting 11, the substitution and reserve players and finallly save it under public access. Then I am able to see my created team and bookmarked, then it show me a note saying that next time you start your console I was going to able to see it and download it. When I restart my xbox and go to creation centre their is nothing there. Does any one had this problem or know how to fix it???|||I have the same problem! That's not the problem. I have the same address and so on. I think the problem is related to the NAT-type. So my suggestion for all those who don't manage to get their created teams into fifa is to check what NAT-type you have;
If the NAT-type is strict or moderate, you'll need to change it into open.

Virtual Pro in new PS3

I had my VP at a 92, when playing CB. I was about to start doing that whole clubs thing since i had a good player but unfortunately my PS3 broke down :) and i had to buy another one. only that now my player is a 68.
When in the main menu it says what my VP stat is and what my friends VP stats are and i still have the highest at 92 and when i go to my FIFA 11 in the online game modes and look under achievements it says that i have completed
53% of them.
Is there any way that i could get my player back?
Or will I have to play again and regain the stats that i already had?|||I lost my VP and it had my old rating on the stats screen.

Creation Centre HELP- Team creation, Uniform Section

This thread is about me having a problem with the unity3d Webplayer.
When making a team in the creation centre, i always get up to the stage with the uniform choosing. I click the link to the unity3d webplayer, download it and install it. Everytime i go back to the page of the creation centre it still says i need to download unity even though i have?

I had the same problem - make sure you're using your default browser and don't use a 64-bit version of internet explorer - use the normal one

Why is the creation of players so limited?

I want to create my local team but creating the players is very limited. Why is it so limited? I mean I am sure that they could have just let us make the players like we make our VPs right?|||Very good question. I don't get it... Only 50 players? C'mon... My PS3 HD can handle more than that! :)
Honestly, I'm very disappointed by what the Creation Center has to offer. Very little colours and ridiculous amount of team logos to choose from. I'd rather like to see custom logo upload, choose colours for shorts / socks seperately, etc.
Another remark: I'd love to form a team with people from my company, each player with a photo face (just for offline purposes). Not possible...
It seems all very restricted...|||I know! I mean the team would be easy to make with photos so why not?
Maybe if I make a VP and put it on the team make another one and so on will that work?

I can create all the teams I want, all the players I want but it won't let me book mark them to upload to my xbox. Every time I try to save it, something pops up telling me t couldn't save and I have to log out to try and re save it. What the heck man!

Well after the promise of much in FIFA 11 (there was talk of being able to use them in clubs etc) it turned out that Creation Centre teams were a bit useless. You couldn't even put your Virtual Pro in them...
I wonder what the plans are to integrate/improve this feature for FIFA 12 and in particular what features people would like to see added. Personally I'd like some of the following:
More badge options.
More kit options.
Far more face options.
The ability to use the teams (and players but with standard stats) in clubs. This is a must in my eyes.
The potential to use them in other game modes.
So thats a start, what else should it be used for and the big question - will it actually be improved for next year?

|||I would like to see the dutch second division (eerste divisie) in manager mode in FIFA12 I think you can copy the teams made by pepsi-henk they are really great al his teams are dowloaded over 100 times only two teams he made i think different about i think veendam is not that good in defence and mvv is a little better on the midfield. It's also great because i think the AI aint tough enough and the position of the clubs in de eerste divisie are bad so they don't have a lot of money. So it's hard to make it a decent club and stay in the eredivisie and you can't win the title as you promote cause there's to much of a difference between eredivisie en eerste divisie Actually you shouldn't give some clubs money because they aren't financially healthy or the same you did with willem ll.

Second thing i want in FIFA12 the growth of a player is a little slow cause if you let youth players play they grow 2 points in one season wich is not worth anything you better can sel them and buy some players who don't have a club and sel them and buy a better player who's very old but would not like to retire you got a great player for almost no money then.
third thing i want is that player who play well and make goals in their division are bought away by clubs that are known to look in that area as an example heereveen and groningen are scouting in zweden and always get there players from there. ajax and feyenoord got them out of there own yought so you should see your own youth and be able to buy them. i could give you all the examples from the eredivisie.|||forgotten to say but i also think there should be a screen where you can see how many supporters visited the game you get money from that and it's completly out of FIFA 11 you always get a little money from that and it depends on your achievements in the league and if its a derby like manchester united-manchester city the stadium is sold out then so you get a financial boost but you also should have some disapointment like properties being destroyed after you lost a derby or something like that. that would make the game more real cause that's what happens often. Also adding a stadium upgrade wich will cost you much but will give you money cause there can be more supporters.
you should see some message that says how many supporters went to the game of the total supporters that could go there. maybe ad something like when the club is really far away less supporters go there then you also got the derby system automaticcaly only ad that dissapointment thing i said before.
Also a multiplayer manager mode would be great something like you can get four teams in the same league and then just like when you do a competition with friends but you can transfer and players can grow. a lot like fifa world cup, if people like to cheat by selling players from ajax to ado that's there choice but now i can't play against my bro and friends i like real competition about the title and the AI doesn't give that only the first season if i become ado i end the season second when i play legend against the AI.|||

I tottaly agree :)|||I like creation centre but it has to be implemented in a much improved way next year.
It was fun to download teams and use them for unranked matches with friends but apart from that they were pretty much useless.
I would have liked to have been able to play as Morton in my MM and even would have liked to have added several other 1st Division sides to make the Scottish football a two tier league but you can't do that.
Once your creation centre teams are useless for one of the games most important and most used features, you won't be able to do a lot else with them.
|||Just to get one thing straight we will indeed be able to transfer players we've already created for Fifa11 into Fifa12?
Secondly the Creation Centre is certainly a BETA product, there is a great lacking of depth to it if you ask me. First of all I would love to see more verity in the options like hairstyles and stuff like that. Compared to what we had in Fifa 2004 or something like that for PC which had tons of different options which makes the offering available for Fifa11 feel very limited.
It should also be possible to scan pictures of our own face and trying to modelling them to fit, this was also available for the creation centre application for Fifa 2003 / 2004 or something for PC back in the day and those of us whom actually got some decent cameras and know how to edit managed to pull of some very good results.
Last but not least there should be WAY BETTER integration with the actual game itself, as many people have already mentioned creating your own team for Fifa11 is somewhat useless as you aren't able to place it in any of the leagues or cups making them only available for exhibition matches which I for one finds rather silly. When playing Fifa02 or something we could create our own leagues and tournaments within the game itself so why this isn't possible in 2011 I can't really understand.
We should be able, if we feel like it to create a bunch of teams and include them in their own leagues. I think we should be allowed to create lower divisions for leagues that don't offer that out of the box. What if I go ahead and create and replicate the 16. teams with the norwegian second division why can't I do it? Is it too much of a hassle including this? When it comes to norwegian soccer the teams available at the release of each Fifa game is outdated within a few weeks as the soccer season in Norway ends in early November resulting in the game feeling rather outdated when playing in January and you know three of the teams in the norwegian division isn't supposed to be there. If we get better creation centre capabilities and integration I could actually go ahead and fix this myself.
So I'll not be asking for more stuff like stadium creator and things like that, first of all they should focus on really getting the player and team creation to work and get well implemented into the game before adding stuff like stadiums etc..|||I can use my self-made players in career mode. You just have to download them at the Creation Centre mode in the game, and then once you've downloaded them they'll apear into the career mode, but not at a club, they are at Free Players (I'm sorry, don't know the English word, they are at the players who don't have a contract). Then when you sign them you are able to play with them.
And I've made like 70 players at the Creation Centre, 50 myself and 20 from a friends account.

I have a group of friends round for the release of fifa 11, obviously all hoping to create our own teams and move players such as drogba,walcott etc.
Can we just move these players across via transfers on team management or even better in the creation centre or is it the long old process of trying to create each player?

Hi, i would like to know if i'm able to transfer a player from a regurla team, ex. Arsenal, to my creation center team. I know that i can create the player, but to be honest i don't want to have two Fabregas on the game. (The original and the one i created in order to be in my created team).

do you know how many can we download? from the FAQ, it says we can create up to 50 teams, but not sure how many can we download/bookmark.|||I've made a basic Egypt team, tried to make the team rating similar to Cote D'Ivorie, but the formation/lineup is a little wrong as the creation centre forced me to use a 4-3-3 for some reason. Trying to find some reliable squad lists to update it a bit more effectively (also I can't seem to change Eid's rating which seems stuck at 43 for some reason)

Custom tracks help

This could be the biggest noob question ever, but I seriously have no idea how the hell to get custom playlists onto FIFA 11. If anyone could help me out I'd hugely appreciate it. :)|||*bump*|||this is very sneaky :) how ea have programed to but this works for me on xbox so..
anyway you need to have the music/chants you want on a cd and rip it to your hard-drive
from there you make playlists for each section in game such as for the entrance you make a play list with that one song in when you go back to fifa 11 in custom themes and chants your playlist should appear the sneaky bit is all that fifa then does is tell your xbox to play said playlist i used to do this manualy i n fifa 08 but i hope this helped anymore questions pm me :)|||I think you have to make a playlist on your Console first, its very straight forward on the PS3(not sure about xbox)

Missing Arsenal commentary!

I've noticed when i create a team (Arsenal legends), on the general info and selecting the commentary name, there isn't the choice of having Arsenal. All of the other major ones are there, even the smaller clubs like Blackpool!
Anyone else noticed this problem?

Evertime i create a team, the tabs goes back to the Create Player and Create Team option. All the other features work fine, but once i press edit kit it send me back i need help. TY.|||really? no help?|||It might be something to do with the Unity player, what browser are you using?
I'd suggest firstly trying a different browser, then if not download this manually if you haven't already....

2. Log IN/Sign up in with your PSN account.
3. Click on the magnifying glass where it says 'Search for a specific team'
4. You can now define search by author/team name in bottom left.
5. Once You found the team you want click on it.
6. When it is opened up click on the top right red button that says 'bookmark team'
7. Turn on your PS3/XBox 360 FIFA game
8. Go to Creation Centre
9. Click on teams that you bookmarked and they will be downloaded to your system.

I thought I read somewhere, that Creation Center, while originally was going to be used for online clubs, would not be available for use for online (pro) clubs. They did say it would be in Fifa 12 for certain, and could possibly be available in sometime for Fifa 11. But I doubt they are working on it, given all the Online issues they are having.

Just created a selection of Naples player between 1986 - 1990 (2 scudetti - 1 U.E.F.A. cup) there are a lot of great players, included Ma.Gi.Ca. (Maradona - Giordano - Careca or Carnevale). I made it accurately and i think is cool to play with. Maradona is not a 99 as some other i've seen in the C.C. but is really strong as it was. If you have any suggestion pleas tell me.

Create A Team Changes

Hey, FIFA there are some changes that need to be made about Creation Centre. I like it a lot so far but I believe that we should have a wider range of colors available. Maybe implementing a color wheel would be cool. Cause there are a lot of teams that have colors on their jerseys that you dont make available. Also we should be able to have a wider range of emblems. I also think that we should be able to upload our own emblem. Like a 'attach a file' sort of thing. Plus if you implement that, implement a flag button so any inappropriate emblems can be flagged. This has worked with shooter games pretty well

I talked to the EA Support cause the editing kits didn´t worked and they told me that being a beta version there will be various issues to resolve in this week and that theyre on it. I suppose the servers also are having problems.

Hey guys, can you create a new team in the creation centre can you fill it with players from existing teams that arent already created. Basically, making a team on the creation centre and putting real players that come with the game on that team.

Something annoying I have noticed

When I download a team the players name, that appears on the team managment screen, is not the name you have given the player. i.e Firstname and Surname. The name that appears on my screen is the kit name. This is annoying as many people dont bother with the kit name or change the cases with in there team. This is what it looks like on my team managment for example:

I find this kind of annoying that EA havent made sure the players name is the players name and not their kit name. I look at the England 66 teams and most of them have blank kit names. I only have 50 team spots for myself so i cant make loads for me. EA need to sort this out!

Yes, obc you cannot beat the real game but its nice to have teams that arnt on the game (* & North/south etc)|||I'm currently making my Sunday League team, which all of the XBox owners in the squad will be able to download and notice how rubbish I've made them compared to me. That alone makes the CC utterly magnificent.
Add in all the people from smaller countries who can (pretty much) create their local sides and it's quite hard to see how anyone could not appreciate it.
Personally, I'd like to see it dramatically enhanced for FIFA 12 as a main priority (apart from bugs, of course). Logos, kits, stadiums, appearances etc., should be more customisable. Forza shows how the community can contribute to a game, FIFA should use it as a template.

Why isn´t it possible to create players at some certain positions?

So, I´m about to create a team and players to it but what bothers me as that I don´t seem to be able to create a natural Central Midfielder (CM) and the kind of wingers you use in for example a 4-3-3 system. Why isn´t that possible?

Ok, now that the game is out, I've become aware that my created players only have surnames. The field marked "kit name" is not actually what appears on the kit, but what the player will be known-as, which is typically a separate field. If you leave this box empty then their full names will appear and the surname will be on the kit, however if you put something in it, then that will supersede the names, i.e. for Brazilian, Portuguese or Spanish players.
I now have to go back and delete this field for 23 teams, so I hope you haven't made the same mistake. Be careful in the future, and don't let the 'kit name' * you!|||Yes, I was none too pleased when I figured this out today, but thankfully, I hadn't done nearly as much work as you. ok so i've tried on multiple computers and this still doesn't work. When i try to save my team/ player it tells me to "log in to ea again and come back to creation center to save my changes" .... Big problem with FIFA 11

I have big problem.
I want to unlock achievements with downloading my face from this site, and to create your own team and play in game by it.
I have an account on easports so I created my face and team. But game didn't see it!! I don't know why.
What is important, easports "see" my last matches in game, BUT, statistics of played matches are bad. In FIFA I have more than 6000 points, but easports say, that I have... 980...
And I have 13% with my virtual star in game, and this is correct in my account on easports. LOL.
Someone maybe know where is a problem?

For whatever reason, I still can't get Unity to work with my computer, so I can't see the sock colors when I select a kit. Can someone post which socks go with which kits, as in if each respective kit uses color 1 or color 2? I know this might be a bit of an undertaking, but it would help me a lot. Ok this is how:
1) First you need to D/L the Created player from the Creation Centre bit of the game
2) Go to My Fifa --> Edit teams --> Squads --> Club tranfers
3) Here, you get all the select team screen just like when you're picking a team in exhibition mode. In the countries bit e.g where it says International, Italy, Iran? (lol) etc. Scroll all the way to the F's where you'll find a section called 'Free Agents'. You'll find your created d/l player here
4) Simply select the player and then choose which team. E.g I want to transfer XXXXX from Free agents to Arsenal.
Scroll to 'England' then Arsenal

4.adding more Authnticated kits from (Nike , Puma, Addidas, Umbro, Rebok, Lega, Lotto) Please add a Nike stripes kit that is for my club :)
5.uploading faces (if possible)
6.Adding more faces & Hairs & Boots.
7. Adding the possibility to add created teams in to ( Rest Of the World Clubs) & National teams in National selection.

It's not bad for a start in my opinion... first year EA's done this but you have a point there. I can't see why EA wouldn't allow sponsors already in the game to be used in Creation Centre. The crests upload might not be possible due to fans doing something pornographic or offensive but why not allow the use of team badges already in the game? If not at least have a few more crest options!|||

Well, they could allow ist for offline / private mode only or something.
I'm very disappointed by what the Creation Center has to offer (which is less than standard). Thinking about sending my copy of the game back...|||The concept its great. But they gotta improve it in order to keep it updated and "hot".
One thing that disapointed me is the fact that we cannot edit the downloaded player faces in-game. The faces look too damn generic, it kills it.
And why not let we make a custom league do fit the teams into a carreer mode? I would love to play Argentinian league or even the Japanese.

You make some good points.
I disagree with the custom faces thing. I'd LOVE to see it as much as the next guy, but if you have thousands of people relying on gameface being made at the same time, can you imagine how much strain that would put on the EA server?
That said, what would be a good idea would be for EA to release an off-line GameFace creator, which does all the hard work and then uploads the file to creation centre.
I really wish you could do custom badges and sponsors. Imagine how amazing that would be?
I doubt we'll be able to add teams into leagues any time soon. The games already been packaged and released. I think it would need one hell of an update to be able to accommodate that.
Overall I'm happy with the whole Creation Centre thing. It's just a beta isn't it so I bet they'll be adding stuff soon. (I hope so anyway)|||I think the reason they don't allow JPEGS and Logo inputting is due to the fact that you'll probably get pictures of Genitals and whatnot as team logos and it would add to the Moderation Workload. If they had a Logo creator where you started with a basic template and added things to it, that may be better, but a straight import thing would probably be a bit meh. I'd love to be able to import my Teams Logo into the game as it would be excellent, but I can understand why they don't let me...
As for Sponsors - that would be excellent, except for the whole licensing thing. They'd probably have to pay to use certain names and whatever so thats probably another reason... Unless of course they had a list if sponsors to stamp onto the kit - made up names that sound conveniently similar.
Some cracking ideas though!|||I think that is not fair :) they should at least add more options so people can upload the real Logos for the teams , how come PES2011 you can upload the logos and use them online with out any monitoring ????
FIFA 11 is alot better than PES2011 in miles , so FIFA Dev team make it right by adding the upload Crest option and add more kit tamplets for GOD's seak :)

maybe if there could be a goggles/sunglasses option in virtual pro and create a player in creation centre so my personal player can look even more realistic because I wear goggles when I play football/futbol/soccer. :)

PROBLEM with SAVING MY TEAM

I can't save my team! I ahve made all the players i need to and edited the jerseys and stadium and all that stuff. When i go to save it it says "saving please wait..." Then after about 45 seconds it changes and says "Your team could not be saved. Please log in again and come back to Creation Centre to save your changes"
If i log out then back in i will lose all my players and team info. What do I DO!!!|||unlucky mate it did it to me its a * pain you crnt do anything :)|||* * does the same to me ! Paid 500 kr for this, and one of EA's biggest marketing cornerstone wont function!? Unbelievable.. No wait, unacceptable! I've created and bookmarked a team online. The team is listed under "my bookmarked teams".
"No teams available" and "no players available" is what's waiting for me on my console.

For Pete's sake why should this process be so elaborate and frustrating? Creation Centre - My thoughts!

Just created my team on FIFA 11 Creation Centre (I even got indigestion for rushing through my tea to get back to it), here are my thoughts:
Firstly, I don't see why everyone is donning pitchforks against this thing. From a technical standpoint, they've used Adobe Flex technology to create the application. I tried making something using Adobe Flex at uni and it was really really hard. I actually feel sorry for the web team down at EA.
Right, the custom team section. Yes, there is a lot missing content wise, but that's really down to the fact that
a) it's still in beta
and
b) from what I understand, FIFA is bound by a lot of licensing laws, making it hard to bring you things. But the beauty of all that is that with it being a web application, it's easily updatable whereas if it was all in-game, you'd have to wait another year.
Right anyway, the custom teams. I really like the concept. Creating my team initially was really easy to do - much more so than having to do it in-game. I was a bit dismayed by the lack of badge and colour options, but again - this *is* a beta.
The player creation again is very interesting. I don't see why everyone hates not having the option for gameface. Imagine this - the resources used to create a gameface must go through the roof. The process takes ages in itself and it must use up a lot of data in itself on the EA servers. Can you imagine thousands of people around the world constantly hammering that? As much as I'd kill to be able to import all my mates faces into the game, I think EA have made the right choice here.

I was relieved to see a "Generate Attributes" button, meaning I could put in the guys overall rating and it would just work out his stats based on his position. I wouldn't have enjoyed manually changing every attribute. I love how you can select his celebration and I also like the questionnaire at the end too, giving him a unique personality. There's a lot of focus on gloves as well, as you'll see what I mean.
The custom options in themselves aren't half bad either. Yes, there's a limit on faces and hair (it's a beta!) but it's unique enough to individualise your mates. The strip chooser I loved, really simple options and a fair few kit styles in there too.
Overall, really happy with it. Few errors in there (not being able to save my team sometimes) and a couple of spelling mistakes, but hey, those are easily ironed out. An EA developer on a forum revealed that there's "more to come" from the Creation Centre. I can't wait.|||

Right anyway, the custom teams. I really like the concept. Creating my team initially was really easy to do - much more so than having to do it in-game. I was a bit dismayed by the lack of badge and colour options, but again - this *is* a beta.

Well, is there any information on how it's going to be after beta is finished? This info would be very helpful to understand the current state.

I don't see why everyone hates not having the option for gameface. Imagine this - the resources used to create a gameface must go through the roof. The process takes ages in itself and it must use up a lot of data in itself on the EA servers.

|||Overall i think its a great feature. Ive been wanting to create my own team and players for a long time, and now i finally can :)
Only main issues i have is the lack of hair choices, faces, and colours and strips, but it is a beta and im sure it will get better down the road
Havnt tried to import my team yet into FIFA 11 but will give that a shot tonight

a few creator questions

my aim is to make a team of all my friends
my problem is the ones i make online look nothing like anybody im trying to make
the ones i make offline have more options and look a lot better
but i cant dont seem to be able to put these into my created team
am i missing something?
the only way i can do this it seems ,is to get a licensed team and just just replace all of the first team with players i have made offline
is there a better way?
any help would be appreciated

Songs for your team

I want to add my own songs to my team so the sounds when they enter the pitch sound more realistic, as well as the fans' own songs. I have tried this but when I start a game i get a message which says it's the wrong file type.
What file type am I supposed to use when doing this?|||mp3 or an audio track ripped from an audio cd|||But I added this song which was mp3 128 kbps and it didn't work...

VIRTUAL PRO IN CREATED CLUB

Can anybody tell me about a VP is it possible to put a VP in created team and is it possible to play online against other clubs like this? In FIFA 10 it was a team with random players and now is it changed with this custom team and VP?|||Does any of you who has the game knows the answer?|||anybody????????|||i got the game, i made a vp player, and played as him with other vp's; and you can also join clubs.
ive not joined a club yet so i cant say what you can do with them, but i would imagine you can play other clubs... maybe global ladder, private ladder or cup, who knows|||I have created a club and a my virtual player.
However when I go into my created virtual pro, i can't seem to get him to join the creation centre custom team. So i think the answer is no.|||

GameFace in Fifa looks nothing like online version

I created a game face and it looks great online. Very impressed. But, when it came to downloading the gameface into Fifa11, it looks nothing like my online version. Eye shape, eye browns and even skin tone are compreltly different. in fact. HELP!!!|||I've got the same problem mate. My game face on the site looks exactly like me, but on FIFA it doesn't. I would try making it again, change the position of the green markers etc|||Same problem mate!
Tried remaking it several times but still no luck|||It's a bug they're working on. Same thing happened here, got on the game face forum and got a lot of help from one of the tech support team. The issue's been escalated to a bug ticket and hopefully we'll see a fix soon. In the meantime try adjusting your game face a tiny bit and reloading.|||i got the same thing. my jaw and chin are completely inverted and my eyes are different colour. i look like a fish and its completely different than online. i guess you can just increase your player till you can edit all his parts then you can edit the bugs.

name changed

ive got 25 made players, but every time i go to download them, i have one whose name is j.smith... ive deleted my player and remade him a bunch of times, edited his name a bunch of times, remade my team a bunch of times, and none of it works.... anyone have any ideas?

Name Changes

I added 125 players created by various people and it worked fine 4 a while but whilst playing career mode got to near end of august looked at free transfers and all names of players i got from creation centre have changed!?! does anybody know why?

Won't let me download teams I've bookmarked!

I've bookmarked 4 teams now and when I go onto my xbox, it just says no teams are ready for download.

CM Position for Created Players?

Is there anyway to make a created players position CM? only option is CAM, CDM, LM and RM.|||Just do a CAM or CDM with ball distributor style. It's the closest you'll be able to get.

Virtual pro

This might sound really noobish but I haven't played virtual pro before and I was wondering how you get a dot in your name. For example, if I want my name to appear as A. Smith. Cos when you go on 1st name, surname and known as it doesn't let you put a dot, it's just greyed out.

Unless you use a "known as" name it will just use the first letter of your first name followed by (. ) then your second name.|||Ahhhhhhhhh, brilliant. Why didn't I think of that? Lol! I know it's a bit petty but I just like things to look right. Haha.
