I have a really basic question. I've been playing fifa for years but have never created a team. I'm wondering if I can create a team and use a mix of created players and players already in the FIFA 11.

No you can't.
The teams you make in Creation Centre can only be edited in Creation Centre so on the pc not on the xbox/PS3
I wanted the same but it can't|||true you cant pick the real ones from there but u can create them or c if someone else has already created them n just try to match their real skills.....n then just place them on ur team.....prbly very time consuming just to try to get those players but if thats wat you want then i think thats ur best n maybe only option for now.....hope that helps
